Are you a fan of live theatre, especially the ones involving both humor and murder? (An interesting combination-genre if ever there was one!)

Then your timing is perfect. Fulfillment can be found just a few miles down the road from Ashland at the Camelot Theatre in Talent, Oregon. This play is the recipient of multiple nominations and awards in the theatre industry.

Set in the early 1900’s in London, A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder is the uproariously funny and farcical story of Monty Navarro, one of numerous heirs to a great family fortune. Monty decides that the best shortcut to eliminating the line of succession is by getting rid of the eight pesky relatives who stand in his way. This conclusion is based on revenge, of course. His family disinherited his mother and his consummate plan is to eliminate the heirs one by one. The clincher to this familiar plot? All of the heirs are played by one actor! Monty’s challenges are complicated by having to juggle his mistress (whose motivation is more about money than love), his fiancée (who is also his cousin), and the constant threat of going to jail! Completing this exciting play is an unforgettable musical score of wonderfully familiar songs.”

A Gentleman’s Guide explores the consequences of lust and ambition in a show that is certain to have you dying with laughter. It’s killer entertainment!”
