In downtown Ashland, near Lithia Park, in a small plaza across from City Hall, stands a statute and a public water fountain for the local Lithia water. A mineral water that people once tried in vain to market as having healing properties. It is sulphury and minerally and effervescent, overall quite interesting. Most people do not like it, but I find it fairly enjoyable. It is certainly worth a try if you’re in town. After the locals failed to market it and make the water a prized health commodity, ultimately they decided to build this fountain so all could enjoy it.
Have you tried the Lithia water at the public water fountain in the plaza? If not, stop by on your next trip to Lithia Park and see for yourself if there are healing qualities to the water or not.
